I have been sharing my perspective on Joy for a long time. Over the last year, I have written a lot about what personally gives me Joy (hoping to show others how to pursue their own joy.
But in just a few hours, I will spin the table. This next journey is about you.
I have observed in the last months as so many people I know come to conclusions, either leaving a job, or just finishing a large project, and there is always that pause as they struggle to decide what comes next.
In many ways, I have been living in that pause for the last year.
That is what has led me to create a new journal I have called The Second Start.
The whole idea of The Second Start can be summed up pretty simply.
What if instead of being scared and defensive about unexpected change, we decided to be deliberate?
We decided to start freeing our minds and hearts to think about all the wonderful things we could do if we did what we wanted. It's a fun thought experiment, not really all that different from when adults ask kids what they want to be when they grow up.
That is the journey I have been on, and now I feel like i have enough understanding of the path that I am offfering to be your guide.
Understand…this isn’t like a travel tour you book, but I will be there with you to help if things get murky. This will be your journey, and you will love what you find.
